Tanker rollover snarls Red Hill Valley traffic

A truck driver has been charged with careless driving after a rollover on Hamilton’s Red Hill Valley Parkway.

A tanker truck filled with waste water rolled over Monday around 11 a.m on the ramp to the Niagara-bound QEW
.

The driver, who’s from Niagara Falls, New York, wasn’t hurt in the accident.

The Ministry of Environment is on scene cleaning up the hazardous material.

Police hope to have the road reopened by the afternoon rush hour.
