Toronto teacher returns from Jamaica
A Toronto-area teacher acquitted of murder charges has returned home.
Paul Martin was accused of cutting his wife’s throat and leaving her at the side of the road, just before Christmas last year.
Martin’s lawyers argued his wife had been the aggressor and was cut in the struggle.
He had been charged with attempted murder, but was found not guilty.
Now that he’s home in Ajax, martin says he’ll be fighting for custody of his young children and would like to return to teaching.
