Child’s quick thinking helps mom get help

A six year old St Catharines girl was honoured as a young hero this afternoon.

Meredith Vanderlee had the presence of mind to call 911 when her mother collapsed unconscious with a seizure. As Lauran Sabourin tells us, the little girl told the 911 dispatcher everything she needed to know to get help within minutes.
