Shooting leads to school lockdown

Police are looking for two men, after a shooting at an apartment building on Hamilton mountain.

Around ten this morning, they were called to the building on Fennell Avenue East – near Upper James – and found a man in his early 20’s, who was shot in the leg. He’s been taken to hospital.

Police are now searching for two men in their 20’s, wearing dark clothing. They were last seen running up a stairwell.

No one is being allowed in or out of the building. Saints Peter and Paul Catholic elementary school were locked down as a precaution.
