$400K fire destroys Burlington home

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating an early morning blaze.

It started just before five this morning, at a home on Galway Drive in the Appleby Line and New Street area. Everyone inside got out safely.

Fire crews poured water on neighbouring homes to try and keep flames from spreading.

Damage is set at more than $400,000.
