More stolen poppy boxes

Two taken from a Tim Hortons in East Hamilton overnight.
About 1:30am, a man grabbed the pair of poppy boxes from the counter of a Tim Hortons at Barton Street and Grays Road.

Witnesses say he fled on foot.

The thief was wearing a Puma track suit.

Some of the poppies spilled on the ground.

Customers picked them up and put the poppies in a coffee cup and left a second cup for donations.

Last week two poppy boxes were stolen from two different Hamilton coffee shops.

Police say it’s the same man.
