Toronto prostitution charge

Toronto police have arrested a 42 year old man they believe was trying to force women to become sex workers.

The man charged is Mark Anthony Burton.

Police say he also went by the aliases “Rick Downey” and “Playboy.”

Burton allegedly operated all over Toronto but mostly in the downtown core and Kingston Road.

He’s facing a number of charges including living off the avails of prostitution.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
