QEW car fire blocks Toronto-bound traffic

Drivers were left to fume after a blaze broke out under the hood of a vehicle.

It happened Wednesday morning on the Toronto-bound lanes, at Jordan Road, just west of St Catharines.
OPP closed the highway in both directions because of the thick black smoke, which was seen as far away as Vineland.
No one was hurt.
