Stoney Creek fire

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called in after a suspicious fire in Stoney Creek.

It started just behind a strip mall on Highway 8 around nine Thursday night.

A fire in a shed spread to a storage garage behind the plaza, but it was knocked down before it could spread to any of the stores.

Damage is estimated at $50,000.
