Construction turns Upper James into a slow zone

If Upper James in Hamilton is part of your daily commute, you’ve already noticed the construction and the back-ups.

Hamilton public works began construction along Upper James between Stone Church and Kennedy this past April.
The work involves the installation of new water mains, sidewalks, curbs, as well as road re-surfacing.

The temporary lane reductions are not only causing back-ups, but also slowdowns for retailers along the route.
Construction on Upper James will continue until mid-November.
