Online donor registry

The province is allowing you to register as an organ donor online.
Until now, willing donors had to register their consent in person at a ServiceOntario Centre or by downloading, completing and mailing a consent form.
By making it easier to consent, Queen’s Park hopes to increase the number of donors.
The online organ donor registry is the creation of the Trillium Gift of Life Network which first made the recommendation five years ago.
Over 15-hundred Ontarians are on the wait list for organ and tissue donations.
