Toronto Police officers train Afghan recruits

Canada’s 5 and a half year combat mission in Afghanistan is coming to an end in July, but Canadian police and soldiers aren’t all coming home.

As Kate Carnegie reports, the mission will now be to train Afghan recruits as part of an international coalition to create the rule of law. Friday, 8 Toronto cops returned home after 9 months in the war-torn country.
