Hamilton police officer faces charges

An officer faces numerous sex-related charges


A Hamilton police officer is facing 16 charges under the Police Services Act, after allegedly having sex on duty.
The charges stem from seven different incidents last year between April and September.
Constable George Schmid has been charged with discreditable conduct, neglect-of-duty and deceit. The Police Services Act hearing will continue July 19th.
