South Asian fest

Hamilton’s Westdale secondary school was filled with the rhythms of South Asia Saturday night.

Guests were treated to an evening of cultural music performances while they dined on traditional Asian foods from places like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. There was fashion, poetry, and even some stand-up comedy with a South Asian flair. The 7th annual event is in celebration of Asian heritage month.
