Hamilton police have arrested a man for a sexual assault from 1999.

Police say the suspect offered young girls money for washing cars, and then lured one of them into his home and sexually assaulted her.

56 year old Michael Matheson was arrested in Stoney Creek and is expected to be in court Wednesday.
