Mothers Against Drunk Driving kicked off the 5th anniversary of its 911 campaign Wednesday.

It encourages the public to call in any driver on the road they believe may be drunk.
To mark the occasion the group put the spotlight on locations in Hamilton where Call 911 road signage and boating signage were recently installed.

Impaired driving continues to be the leading criminal cause of death in Canada, claiming between 13 to 16-hundred lives each year.
MADD says its Campaign 911 programs have increased arrest rates by an average of 30 percent.
