Charges laid in Savidant death

A 55 year old Hamilton man is charged with careless driving, in connection with a deadly crash March 7th.

Travis Savidant, 15, was walking to school when a SUV collided with a taxi van, at the intersection of Howe Ave and East 14th Street.
The force of the impact sent the van careening onto the sidewalk, trapping Savidant under the van.

Lawrence Wells is scheduled to appear in court on April 26th.
