Hero: river rescue like any other day

He risked his own life to save the life of a stranger who’d crashed through thin ice on the Welland River trying to rescue his dog.

Michael Young dragged the frozen man out on the end of a rope just before rescue crews arrived.
As Lauran Sabourin reports, Young scrambled into action when he heard frantic screams for help.
