A Hamilton man accused of stealing property from Hydro One in London will be in court today.

A truck, tools, and spools of copper were stolen from the Hydro One facility on Sunday.

Police say thousands of dollars worth of tools were found when they searched a home in Hamilton yesterday.

They say these items are not just from the London facility — but from a number of different hydro sub stations in the region.

The stolen truck was found in Oakville on Monday.

Copper typically sells for almost four dollars a pound.
