Frozen shoulder

Lifting, stretching and pulling are typically mindless body movements, until you feel that twinge of pain.
Nursing shoulder pain might seem like a good idea. But if it lingers for an extended period of time, your range of motion can become limited.
Extreme cases develop into something called frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis. Inflammation and scarring in the soft tissue or shoulder capsule. There are a few treatment options. Steroid injections, medication, as well as physiotherapy. But some cases require surgery. Once mobility is re-established, continued therapy may be required to prevent re-freezing.
