Thousands of people gathered in Burlington on Sunday for the 49th annual Christmas parade.

The parade featured marching bands, colourful floats and mascots.

People lined the streets waiting for Santa Claus who appeared on his sleigh along with his reindeer.

The Burlington Teen Tour Band boosters collected non-perishable food items in support of local food banks.

Spectators could also contribute new hats, mittens or gloves to the Your Little Bit of Help initiative through Burlington Taxi.
