Heart attack kills Hamilton-born NHLer Murray Oliver

Another Hamilton hockey great died over the weekend.

Murray Oliver died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 77 years old. He formed a strong friendship with Pat Quinn when they were juniors with the Hamilton Tiger-Cubs.

Murray went on to play in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Minnesota North Stars, playing in 1,127 games.
