Time capsule returned to Gore Park Cenotaph and Remembrance Day update

Hamilton’s Culture Division announced today that the Gore Park Cenotaph will not be used for Remembrance Day services this year due to ongoing construction.
City officials also returned a time capsule they had removed from the Gore Park Cenotaph in a private ceremony Wednesday.
The also decided to add a few more items and built a bigger stainless steel capsule.
Alternate arrangements have been made to hold the downtown Hamilton Remembrance Day commemorations at Liuna station and Hamilton City Hall.
Meanwhile, the second biggest Remembrance Day Ceremony outside of Ottawa will be held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.
