The ‘Pawn Sacrifice’ red carpet event at TIFF happened earlier this evening and there’s Oscar buzz about this film.

It’s the story of chess phenomenon Bobby Fischer and what’s known as “the match of the century.”

That’s the 1972 World Chess Championship between American challenger Bobby Fischer and the USSR’s defending champion Boris Spassky.
