A Mississauga man is dead after his motorbike crashed into a minivan in Oakville Tuesday evening.

Emergency crews arriving at Trafalgar Rd. and White Oaks Blvd. immediately went to work trying to keep him alive.  He was loaded onto a stretcher with paramedics continuing to work on him, but the 41-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

Police say the motorcycle crashed into the passenger side door of an SUV that was turning left off Trafalgar.  No-one in the car was seriously hurt.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.

This is the eleventh deadly crash in Halton this year.
