Police identify victim of QEW crash

A 65-year-old Calgary woman is dead following a three-vehicle crash on the Toronto bound lanes of the QEW in Burlington yesterday.

OPP say a pick up truck collided with two cars. Rassina Al-Yafi, one of five people in the pick up truck was ejected from the vehicle and died from her injuries.

Both a 70-year old Calgary man and a 32-year old woman from Mississauga suffered serious injuries.

The pickup truck driver, a 33-year old Mississauga man, received minor injuries and a 13-month old baby wasn’t injured. The lone drivers in the other vehicles also escaped uninjured.
