A Milton man has been charged in the death of a cyclist last month.

Halton Police say the accused was on an off-road vehicle July 6th when he collided with a 32 year old father of four, also from Milton.

Joel Van Beek, 25, turned himself in yesterday. He has been charged with dangerous operation causing death.

Van Beek is due back in court on September 22nd.
