Fire destroys Milton home

Nobody was injured in an overnight fire in Milton that destroyed a home.

Firefighters were called to the home on 4th Line south of Britannia Road just after 1 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, the house was completely engulfed. As crews worked to put out the flames, the roof collapsed. Smoke could be seen for kilometres billowing from the building.

Firefighters say they were called to the home several weeks ago for an unrelated fire. They don’t believe this fire is suspicious.
