Woman injured in 3-vehicle crash

A woman had to be pulled from her car by fire fighters after a three vehicle crash in Burlington.

Police say a large truck and red Kia Soul were exiting the QEW, turning left onto Brant Street when they were hit by a silver car heading north last night.

Fire crews had to take the door off one of the vehicles to free the woman trapped inside. She was taken to Joseph Brant Hospital with minor injuries.

The incident led to a significant backup in the area. Police say charges are pending against the driver of the silver car.
