Bomb scare in Hamilton

A developing story on the Hamilton mountain where the bomb squad has been called to deal with a suspicious package.

The scene is Concession Street at East 22nd in front of the Cancer Assistance Program clinic. The entire area has been evacuated and closed to the public after a suitcase was spotted there earlier this evening. The robot was put into action within the hour. The area is still closed off at this hour. Police are taking x-ray photographs of it. So far it hasn’t been detonated. The area is still closed.
