Hamilton man charged in stabbing

A Hamilton man is facing charges after a stabbing on Kenora Avenue yesterday morning.

Police say the stabbing happened after a brawl between a group of men at a townhouse complex on Kenora Avenue at about 10 a.m.

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds but is expected to recover.

Police say the suspect turned himself in to central station yesterday afternoon.

Muneeb Ali Ghawar, 25, faces charges including aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to comply with probation.
