There were some tense moments at a Hamilton mountain restaurant last night.

Police say a man left a briefcase at the counter of Rymal Pizza and Wings. Staff called police after he didn’t return for it.

Concerns that it might be an explosive device forced the closure of Rymal Road between Upper Gage and Upper Ottawa for about two hours. Police determined there were only clothes inside the briefcase, and there was no threat.
