74-year-old Hamilton man facing sexual assault, indecent act charges

A 74-year-old man from Hamilton has been charged in connection with what police call a report of indecent acts that occurred over an extended period of time.

Police say that at the time that the offense occurred, the accused was providing seasonal lawn maintenance and snow removal services to vulnerable elderly women.

Seventy-four-year-old Joseph Batrynchuk of Hamilton has been arrested and faces one count of Sexual Assault and one count of an Indecent Act.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and encourage anyone with information to contact police.
