73-year-old man dead, another in hospital after Hamilton crash

Hamilton police say a 73-year-old man has died and another man remains in hospital in critical condition following a serious collision downtown Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the intersection of Barton St. East and MacNab St. North shortly after 9 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Paramedics transported two people to hospital in critical condition.

Police say a 73-year-old man later died in hospital, while a 45-year-old man remains there in critical but stable condition.
