47-year-old man stabbed in broad daylight in Hamilton

Hamilton police are investigating after a 47-year-old man was stabbed in the Gibson neighbourhood on Friday.

Police say it happened at approximately 1:40 p.m. in the area of King Street East and Proctor Boulevard.

Officers arrived to find a 47-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his upper body.

Police say he was conscious and responsive when he was transported to hospital.

There is no suspect description available at this time.
