4 men wanted after robbery at Howard Jewellers in Lime Ridge Mall

Hamilton police are on the hunt for four men who brazenly robbed a jewellery store in Lime Ridge Mall Thursday evening.

Officers say the call came in around 8 p.m., just an hour and a half before Lime Ridge Mall closes.

Police say four men in dark clothing entered Howards Jewellers, vandalized a display case and stole its contents before making their escape.

No one was injured, but thousands of dollars in merchandise were taken during the heist.

Authorities say the four men made off in a grey Chrysler 300, which was last seen heading eastbound on Mohawk Road East from Upper Sherman Avenue around 8:30 p.m.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are turning to the public for help in identifying the suspects.
