31-year-old Hamilton man charged in girl sex-trafficking in GTA

A 31-year-old man from Hamilton has been charged in connection to sex trafficking a girl in the Greater Toronto Area.

Peel Police arrested Mohammed Karim Mohammed and allege that he exercised control over numerous aspects of a girls life, including forcing her into sex while profiting from it.

Mohammed has been charged with several offences involved with trafficking someone under 18 years old, and for assault with a weapon.

Investigators released a photo of Mohammed on Friday believing that there may be other victims.

Mohammed was held for a bail hearing and attended the courthouse in Brampton at an undisclosed date.
