3 arrested in Milton, stolen vehicles recovered: Halton police

Officers with Halton regional police say three suspects are facing charges after a number of stolen vehicles were recovered on a rural property south of Milton.

Earlier this month, police identified a recently stolen vehicle from within Peel region at an address in Milton.

Following this discovery, officers carried out a search warrant and arrested three suspects in their 20s. They also recovered 12 stolen vehicles in various stages of being disassembled.

Haider Ameer Khan of Brampton, Shehroz Nadeem of Mississauga, and Jaskaran Singh of Grimsby are all facing numerous charges relating to the thefts, and intent to participate in trafficking.

All three men have been released on bail, and have an upcoming court date in Milton.

Officials are reminding the public to keep their cars safe from theft by parking in locked garages, using a steering wheel lock, installing security cameras around your home, and installing a kill switch on your vehicle.
