Hamilton police say they have made three arrests in connection to a pro-Palestinian demonstration that took place outside a defence contractor’s Waterdown facility.
The protest occurred on Nov. 10 when protestors gathered on Leavitt Boulevard, just off Highway 5, around 11 a.m.
They blocked road access to the L3Harris facility for several hours.

Police say the protestors scattered debris on the road and had a fire in a barrel nearby.
Authorities charged three women from Hamilton following an investigation into the incident.
39-year-old Patricia Rae Mills, 27-year-old Victoria Maria Wojciechowska and 26-year-old Sahra Abib Soudi are all facing charges of mischief and disguise with intent.
Footage from the protest shows around 20 people at the demonstration, holding signs condemning the war in Gaza and warning those attempting to pass the blockade that road spikes were in use.
L3Harris officially opened the Waterdown facility in 2021.
The company is an American defence contractor that specializes in developing microwave weaponry and electronic warfare.
In 2019, following a merger between the former L3 Communications and Harris Corporate, it was expected to be the sixth-largest defence contractor in the United States.
