3 arrested, 1 wanted in Niagara Falls shooting, armed robbery last year

Police have charged three people and continue to search for another man wanted in connection with a shooting and armed robbery in Niagara Falls last year.
In September, Niagara police were called to a shooting that sent a 28-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities said it was a “targeted” shooting and said there was no threat to the general public.

Few details followed the police investigation into the September shooting — until an incident involving the same suspects occurred nearly three months later.
On Dec. 24, police responded to an armed robbery at a home near Drummond Road and Culp Street in Niagara Falls.
Officers say four people entered a 20-year-old man’s home, pistol-whipped him and then stole an undisclosed amount of cash before making their getaway.
Investigators were able to track down and arrest three of the four people accused in the robbery.

On Jan. 8, police raided a home on Harriman Street in Niagara Falls and arrested 51-year-old Patrick C. Cline, 28-year-old Kaitlyn Madill and 35-year-old Barry J. Hunt.
During a search of the property, detectives located and seized a loaded firearm, as well as cocaine and fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $16,000.
Cline has been charged with five separate charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon, among others.
Madill and Hunt were both charged with one count of robbery.
All three were held in custody and faced bail hearings over the course of Jan. 9 and 10.

Police say one additional suspect is still at large.
Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for 34-year-old Dennis W. Arsenault of Niagara Falls who is wanted for robbery.
Arsenault is described as a white man who stands at six-foot-one with a slender build, brown eyes and brown hair.
Officials are warning the public not to approach Arsenault, if spotted.
Police say anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911.
