Officers in the Niagara region are searching for a 24-year-old man who struck three police vehicles Monday morning.

The black Honda Civic fled the scene before police arrived, but it was later found at the Pen Centre in St. Catharines.

Officers say the driver intentionally hit three unmarked police vehicles and another person’s vehicle before driving away.

“Out of concern for public safety, a pursuit was not initiated by the involved officers,” police wrote in a release.

The suspect was last seen in the area of Oakwood Dr. and McLeod Rd. in Niagara Falls.

Investigators have identified the driver as Jeremy Joseph Bowen of no fixed address. He is described as five-foot-eleven and 205 lbs with brown hair, blue eyes, and tattoos that say “family” on his upper right arm and “not to we are lost” on his left forearm. The white man also wears glasses.

Bowen is wanted for five separate charges, including theft under $5,000 and assault with a weapon.

Police say the black 2021 four-door Honda Civic has the rear Quebec licence plate number FNS2738. There is believed to be significant damage on the front-end to the back end.

Officers believe Bowen may also have two pit bulls in the car with him.

People are asked to call 911 if they see Bowen or know his whereabouts. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1023300.
