2 hospitalized after crash involving motorcycle in Mississauga

Peel Police Service says a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Mississauga sent two people to hospital Tuesday night.

The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition while the car driver is reported to have less severe injuries.

Investigators say the crash happened on Dundas Street West and Vega Boulevard, east of Highway 403.

Peel police are advising drivers to take alternate routes as Dundas Street West is closed in both directions from Highway 403 to Ridgeway Drive.

Halton police and Oakville firefighters are helping with this investigation.

There is no word yet on charges.
